by Ayisha Javer | May 06, 2016

May 6, 2016 - Vancouver, BC – Credential Financial and its employees are rallying around the people of Fort McMurray to provide any assistance they can offer, including a $10,000 contribution in support of the Red Cross Alberta Fires Emergency Appeal relief efforts.

Doce Tomic, President & CEO of Credential Financial, said the firm is reaching out to its credit union partners affected by the fires to help out in any way it can.

"Our thoughts go out to all those affected by the Fort McMurray wildfires,” said Doce Tomic. “We stand by our credit union partners and the communities they work hard to serve, and will do all we can to show our support in these tough times."

So far, the wildfires have destroyed hundreds of homes, schools and businesses, forcing the evacuation of thousands of local residents in Fort McMurray. Over and above the Company’s corporate donation, Credential hopes to help alleviate the impact of the wildfires through fundraising efforts and individual employee donations.
